Accommodations for STUDENTS

Housing for students is available on Nunatta Campus, Kivalliq Campus, and Kitikmeot Campus. Housing allocation is assigned based on acceptance into the program.

Housing

Housing allocation is assigned based on acceptance into the program. Students who have submitted their complete application packages by the deadline of April 15 will be considered a priority.

Priority will be given to out-of-town, full-time students for accommodation in the residences. Families only will be permitted accommodation in our family units. Students already living in the campus location will be permitted accommodation only when, and if, all out of town students have been accommodated. Other requests will be assessed on an individual basis. Students with outstanding accounts with the College may be refused accommodation at the discretion of the Campus Director or designate.

Note: Failure to pay College fees will result in eviction from College accommodations.

nunatta campus (IQALUIT)

Nunatta Campus has two types of student housing:  single student and family housing.

Student housing units are very limited. It is in your best interest to apply well in advance. Full-time students accepted in long-term programs have first priority for student family housing.

Acceptance for housing will be confirmed once a student is accepted for full-time study. Applications for accommodations can be made throughout the year.

Kivalliq campus (RANKIN INLET)

Single student housing is available on campus, within Kivalliq Hall and full-time students are encouraged to apply early for residence space. There are also a limited number of family units available to out of town applicants.

Acceptance for housing will be confirmed once students have been accepted into their respective programs.  Applications for housing can be made at any time throughout the academic year.

kitikmeot campus (CAMBRIDGE BAY)

Single student and family units are available in Cambridge Bay. Applications for housing can be made at any time throughout the academic year. Acceptance for housing will be confirmed once students have been accepted into their respective programs.
